Military Families

Supporting Military Families

We understand that military life can involve regular moves, short-notice postings, deployment, and periods of separation. Vyners School is committed to welcoming military families and helping every child settle, feel included and do well from the start.

If you are a military family planning a move to Hillingdon, please contact our school office for

advice and support. We are here to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Details about our admissions process can be found here.

Service Pupil Premium

Children from Military families are eligible for Service Pupil Premium funding. This is funding

paid directly to schools to help them provide additional support for Service children,

especially pastoral support and help during times of mobility or parental deployment

More information can be found here: Service pupil premium - GOV.UK

Armed Forces Covenant

The Covenant focuses on helping members of the Armed Forces community have the same

access to Government and commercial services and products as any other citizen.

More information can be found here: About the Covenant - Armed Forces Covenant

Staying in Touch

We encourage families to keep us informed about planned moves, deployments, and any

changes that may affect your child’s school life. The more we know, the better we can

support your child and make sure they have a positive start.
