Parent Governor Election - The Result
We are delighted to announce that Mr John Hooker has been duly elected as our new Parent Governor.
Year 11 GCSE Parents Workshop
The Year 11 Parents Evening was a successful event attended by the majority of parents and provided the opportunity to discuss with teachers the progress that students were making.
Parent Governor Election
The parent governor election is underway. Polling closes at 12 noon on Wednesday 24th February 2010. Your child should return your ballot paper to the school reception by that time.
Successful 6th Form Open Evening
We had a very successful 6th Form Open Evening on Tuesday.
The hall was packed and a great deal of conversation took place between staff, parents and students. This is an excellent start to the option process and we would like to thank all of those who attended.

Open Source and ‘free’- software
Although Microsoft Office is perhaps the best known of the ‘office’ software there are others which offer similar functionality, are compatible with Microsoft office and are free.
English Department NEWS
Vyners School English Department is continually committed to improving standards of attainment and results in English, a key curriculum subject.
In order to ensure each pupil has every chance to succeed in this vital subject, we will be setting Year 7 pupils according to ability after the half-term break.
